A Day to Admire
Andra mixes old doo-wop, soul and jazz to embody the magic that leaves her lips. She sends shivers through her lyrics with the comfort of a riff, while bringing us to our knees for more. Definitely a second coming of yesteryear music. Truly magnetic.
This album has been three years in the making and it is well worth the wait. This is a biography of truth and faithfulness told thru music. Andra Day is an artist molded from an industry that no longer exists. Each song is heart felt because they represent true experiences of hers that only she could tell. This album will be a source of heeling to many. Enjoy.
