Remember when Linkin Park was a rock band? Pepperidge Farm remembers
I’ve been a huge fan for nearly 20 years and have stuck with them through shaky moments as there were always great moments in between. The last album was a tremendous resurgence and had me hopeful for the future. However I am at a complete loss for words. They’ve never been afraid to experiment, I feel that this is less of an experimentation and more of pandering to the masses. This easily sounds like any of the other 1000 songs on the radio by a TwentyOne Pilots sound alike. There’s no heart and the lyrics are absolutely generic. A Thousand Suns at least had different sounds and elements of music we hadn’t heard from them before…I hope the entire album isn’t like ‘Heavy’.
1st song so far is pop garbage
Seriously, what the hell? So bland and boring. I will update this review when the rest of the album is released. I pray it is better than this crap. This is not even rock music. Just generic, radio pop garbage.
